TE TŪRANGA I THE ROLE: 

As the Imagery Editor you work with the Imagery team to source, review and maintain content imagery to meet a range of business uses. This role is a six-month fixed term contract and will primarily focus on product and marketing requirements and provide support for other initiatives as required. Some experience with graphic design would be a bonus.

NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

  • Accessibility, retrievability, security, quality, and retention of imagery and data.
  • Support imagery requirements across the business working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality
  • Liaise with content distributors to source and download imagery assets, and seek approvals where required for non-editorial use
  • Be responsible for actioning schedule amendments
  • Work within established end to end imagery processes to source, curate, resize and upload content imagery to meet specific business and product requirements.
  • Keep a firm editorial oversight when working with entertainment imagery and ensure all usage is within any content restrictions.
  • Manage stock imagery files, sourcing as required and storing appropriately.
  • Collate information relating to distributor contacts, site log ins and other resources available to us to ensure clear information around imagery sourcing and use.
  • Support DAM team with the documentation and tagging of metadata, to ensure image data integrity for automation to product platforms
  • Other imagery related duties as required.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • Experience in Imagery creation and editing
  • A good understanding of imagery copyright & licensing
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  • A strong & creative Editorial eye
  • Analytical skills to gather and structure imagery related information
  • Passionate about content
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Must be creative and able to think outside the box
  • Ability to work unsupervised
