Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team. The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a key role in this transformation. Working across Sky’s product portfolio, each at different stages of marketing maturity, this role is about building strong cross-functional relationships, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver impactful marketing automation initiatives that drive customer engagement.

NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- End to end delivery of omni-channel direct marketing campaigns via email, sms, push notifications, social, outbound calling. Including but not limited to Sky’s Customer Lifecycle Management programme
- All tasks associated with campaign development, building campaigns, rules-based orchestration, segmentation, targeting, analysis, suppression and optimisation in Marketing Cloud
- Supporting quarterly marketing planning, working with Direct Marketing team to operationalise quarterly strategy into lifecycle marketing and campaigns
- Supporting implementation of quarterly and monthly testing and optimisation plans in Marketing Cloud
- Work closely with Customer Journey’s & Experience team to craft meaningful experiences end to end, leveraging digital touchpoints
- Collaborate with Content team to understand content priorities and target to data-driven customer segments
- Pro-actively improve personalisation of direct marketing through implementing and testing new data, segmentation opportunities. Continuously seek out and leverage personalisation and data-driven opportunities
NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’re looking for someone with a data-driven mindset who can translate insights into innovative, customer-centric marketing initiatives.
You’ll bring a strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and be comfortable operating in an omni-channel environment. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running, thrives in a fast-moving and fluid environment, and adapts quickly as priorities evolve.
Collaboration is key in this role, so the ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and work closely with cross-functional teams is essential to delivering impactful outcomes.
- 3+ years’ experience in data-driven Direct Marketing, executing at various touchpoints within the customer lifecycle
- Proficiency in Marketing Cloud
- Proficient in the toolset provided by Salesforce Marketing Cloud including but not limited to: Automation Studio Email Studio, Journey Builder, Einstein, SQL, AMPscript, HTML languages
- A strong understanding of data and reporting platforms
- Ability to work seamlessly across numerous brands, with various teams
- Knowledge of data privacy and governance principles
- Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office, Miro, Figma, Confluence/Jira
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Marketing, Business or similar
