TE TŪRANGA I THE ROLE: 

 

Sky is looking for a Manager – Platform & Performance to play a central role in driving the success of the Ad Sales business. Working across Ad Sales, Finance, Data, and Technology, this role ensures performance is clearly tracked, understood, and continuously optimised. This is a super exciting time to join Sky and help shape the future of our Adsales reporting suite, driving smarter inventory valuation and optimising occupancy across the portfolio!

This role will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights, enabling sales and finance teams to make confident decisions that drive revenue and strengthen overall business performance. Key responsibilities include delivering core performance reporting, managing advertising inventory across the portfolio, and supporting revenue reporting and forecasting with Commercial Finance.

The role also partners closely with Technology to enhance systems and introduce automation, making processes more efficient, effective, and future-proof.

NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Lead staff training, onboarding, and workload management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements and support a high-performance team culture.
  • Build strong relationships with sales leaders and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Prepare and analyse sales reports, identifying opportunities for growth and performance improvement.
  • Reconcile campaign spend and monitor commercial performance metrics.
  • Review and manage sales contracts, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain service excellence.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • 5 years’ experience as a leader
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a senior analytical role
  • Advance Microsoft Office in Excel
  • Advance Microsoft Office in PowerBI
  • Experience in building and maintain a reporting suite in BI.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Comfortable interlocking with other departments to work on solutions for sky’s future goals Legal right to work in NZ as defined by Immigration NZ
