TE TŪRANGA - THE ROLE: 

Are you a social media expert with a passion for creating impactful content that drives both engagement and commercial success? If so, we want to hear from you! 

As the Social Media Executive (Integrations), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Sky’s social media campaigns seamlessly align with commercial and marketing objectives. You’ll work across the Social, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver engaging, sales-driven, and brand-building content, leveraging monetisation opportunities while keeping our audiences engaged. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Develop and implement social media campaigns that align with Sky’s commercial goals and brand strategy. 
• Manage Sky’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), ensuring quality, consistency, and audience engagement. 
• Oversee Sky’s YouTube channels, driving content performance and engagement. 
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align social media initiatives with business priorities. 
• Manage relationships with internal teams and advertising partners to maximise social media opportunities. 
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and ROI. 
• Stay ahead of trends, bringing innovative ideas to elevate Sky’s social media presence. 
• Act as a champion for social media within Sky, ensuring best practices and engagement strategies are followed. 
• Drive growth and engagement of Sky’s social media channels, enhancing advertising opportunities. 

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO - WHAT YOU WILL BRING  

• Previous experience in the sports, entertainment, or media industry. 
• 3+ years’ experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a related role. 
• A passion for sport, pop culture, and entertainment. 
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in a commercially focused role. 
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and campaign execution. 
• Proficiency in the use of creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud). 
• Experience in managing campaigns using Meta’s Business Manager. 
• Hands-on experience using analytics tools to track and optimise social media performance. 
• A creative mindset with the ability to develop fresh, innovative social media campaign ideas. 
• Experience managing YouTube content and developing platform strategies. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
