TE TŪRANGA I THE ROLE:
As a Business Manager – Direct Sales at Rangiata, Sky, you’ll be at the forefront of driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with direct advertisers. You’ll have the opportunity to shape sales strategies, bring fresh ideas to market, and work with an engaged and high-performing team.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and expand your client base
- Proactively take Sky Sales products, opportunities, and proposals to market and secure deals
- Identify prospective clients, understand their needs, and influence purchasing decisions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with advertisers and key stakeholders
- Stay ahead of market trends and industry developments to drive innovative sales approaches
- Work collaboratively across teams to deliver outstanding solutions for your clients
NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO I- WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- At least 3 years’ experience with a media owner
- A strong understanding of the media landscape
- 4+ years in sales, specifically in television and/or digital advertising
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a media environment
- Strong advertiser and client relationships with an established industry network
- A drive for success, a passion for sales, and a mindset that turns challenges into opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Legal right to work in New Zealand as defined by Immigration NZ
